Marty Hitzeman is a technology enthusiast and views technology as an enabler in business efficiency. What that company is using technology for makes no difference, whether that's Production, Accounting, Sales, Customer Service or Marketing. Technology is a fact of life in business and, used properly, will create efficiency, help sales and enable companies to communicate with partners, vendors and customers in new and creative ways.
Because of his experience in sales, marketing, and technology, Marty was able to take advantage of an opportunity in the world of Word of Mouth Marketing and Digital Influence. Marty worked for Ketchum, a top 10 global PR firm, providing technology solutions for 7+ years. When Ketchum launched Zocalo Group, Omnicom's only Word of Mouth Marketing company, in 2007, Marty was able to take his experiences from the PR and Technology world and apply them in the Marketing world. At Zocalo Group, Marty led the development of online community and influencer monitoring platforms. He became a specialist in DWOM, Digital Influence and the technology used to create successful programs for some top brands like Frito-Lay, The Cheesecake Factory, 3G's, Kodak, Michael Angelo's, De Paul University, Schawk, Cricket Wireless, Orbitz, PAM, and many others.
As Chief Executive Officer of Get Talked About, Marty looks forward to expanding the company's own influence in the social media, marketing and communications space.
